Pair of cashmere palette large octagonal garden urns

Each with a campaniform body painted within three slightly aring rectangular panels on the front and reverse of the upper half with a central draped putto holding a owering stem in each hand, anked by two cherubs playing a ute, each seated amidst a profusion of owers and leaves between urns filled with owers bisected by the vertical edges of the panels and continuing into the two side panels behind the blue robust scroll handles, each molded at the top with a bearded mask clasping in his mouth an iron-red bowknot suspending a swag of pomegranates, grape clusters, leaves and a large blossom above a further mask in higher relief modeled as a blue curly-haired man and interrupting a oral border around the mid section and a wide border of alternating satyr’s and winged cherub’s head masks above scrolls and oral and foliate pendants, the convex rim and the concave ankle each with blue-ground oral borders, and the arched foot with a border of oral lappets above an iron-red line and blue band around the molded edge.
