This index lists the most common marks initials used by 17th- and 18th-century Delft potteries, as well as common forgeries of popular marks.
This index also includes 19th- and 20th-century factories, in and outside of Delft, producing wares in the Delftware style. These modern pieces are not considered antique Delftware and can be recognised by their modern production techniques, non-Delftware marks or the text 'Delft', 'Delfts' or 'Made in Holland' on the bottom.
This list is comprised of five categories: historical Delftware marks, modern Delftware marks, unidentified marks, false marks and marks of factories outside of Delft (non-Delftware). New marks from the collections and community uploads will be added to this index on a regular basis.
