Winter landscape, wife with bundle of wood, windmill in the background and tree. Front signed with "naar du Chattel". On the backside of the plate only 3 marks: "Delft" and "No 43" and "56 cm". Marks seems to me hand-painted, but unusual for Delft objects. We own several of these plates with size 43 and 56 cm. The plates are part of a legacy from great grandfather who was married with a wife with netherland rootes.
