De vazen zijn weer een typisch voorbeeld van ‘nieuw Delfts,’ dat bij de herleving van interesse in ons nationale product tegen het eind van de 19e eeuw gemaakt is. Er waren toen verschillende productie locaties over het hele land, als ook in het buitenland, zoals België, Frankrijk, Duitsland en nog verder van huis.
