a deep bowl with hand painted blue and white designs and an ochre stag in the centre bottom with date numbers 16 16 . Green foliage at the stags feet. Initials on the back read S.B.A.
Terracotta clay shows through on foot. 2 holes pierced in foot rim for hanging loop.

Vraag

I would like to know if this is Dutch and if so what sort of age, as I have found a 17th century plate with a very similar stag in the centre. I will post a photo of this too for comparison.

It is not Dutch and doesn't seem to be from the period as dated. It is probably a 20th century souvenir object.
