This dish appears to be hand painted, as I can see the brush strokes. In addition, the dish has a raised embossing. The color is pure white with dark blue and some lighter blue. There is a pin hole in the front which shows the color of the pottery underneath. There is absolutely no mark on either the front or back. The back is smooth, with what appears to be a pin hole on the under lip.
