Apologies for the VERY late response here from myself. And thank you for the information. 

It does not look like the mark was added after the fact.

​​​The only info I have in regards to the vase is that my great grand father bought it in either Germany or Netherlands around late 1800's or early 1900's. 

And apologies about the question on pricing. I was only asking due to insuring it. This item will never leave our family. :)
