Designed & painted after Roelofs with centre cartouche of old Dutch windmill by a pond, with oriental style fisherman in rowing boat & a building with smoking chimney in distance. Surrounded by foliate and floral border containing four different smaller cartouche scenes of boats, water scenes and dwellings. Artist signed. Yellow clay shows where worn. Pooling and pitting to glaze. Foot pieced for old wire hanging loop.
