Only tin-glazed earthenware made in Delft between 1620 - 1850 is referred to as traditional Delftware.

The vase is indeed an authentic Delftware vase, produced around 1700. It probably had some siblings to form either a pair or even a garniture set. Also, probably the rim was damaged at one point and that is why they gave it this mount.

The vase is indeed an authentic Delftware vase, produced around 1700. It probably had some siblings to form either a pair or even a garniture set. Also, probably the rim was damaged at one point and that is why they gave it this mount.
