is this delft? did delft ever use numbers like those on the base?Aware it is highly unlikely - but would love to learn how to recognise it is definitely not!

This seems to be an inkwell without the inner ink pot. Delft potters did use numbers in some cases, but not in this manner. The inkwell has been inspired on Delft pottery, but it is not original, made outside of Delft in the 20th century,.
