The jar is blue and white not sure if it is a tea jar or tabacco jar. It is painted with flowers with a silver lid with men holding muskets?

I would just like to know if this is an original and if so what year was this made.

My suspicion is that this piece was made by Velsen Ceramics, but the mark looks a little sloppy  (and just falls in a shade/light part in the picture - it's the top left mark). If so, it is 20th century and in any case it will not be from Delft or from the right period to be genuine Delftware.
