Founded in 1841 as Boch Keramis. From 1844 the company operated as Boch Frères Keramis. From 1869 the marks include the location 'La Louvriere'. The mark Royal Boch Manufactyre was introduced in 1989.
Boch Keramis Frères also used 'KB' and 'BFK' monograms as marks until c. 1920/1930.
The founder of Boch (Frères) Keramis founded the company Villeroy & Boch earlier, in 1836.
