This is a clock case. The movement appears to be French, from the late 18th century.

Vraag

I wonder if this case is as old as the French clock mechanism it contains, which appears to be late 18th century. I also would like opinions on whether it is authentic Delftware. The marks consist only of two letters (D.X.) and a number (10).

The clockcase dates from around 1890-1900 and French.
