Het is niet Delfts en ook niet Nederlands. De drie puntjes op de onderzijde wordt een proenmerk genoemd. Dit duidt er op dat het schaaltje op een zogenaamde proen, een driehoekig steun, is gebakken. Ik heb de indruk dat dit 19de eeuws is en mogelijk Scandinavisch.
