Three piece tulipiere with marks on the top and bottom pieces. Item is part of a fine estate collection. Place and time of purchase are unknown.
I have been unable to identify the mark on this piece. I am inquiring here in the hopes that someone can tell me something about it before concluding it is a pseudo-mark. The color of the base differs slightly from that of the other two pieces. Because they share the same mark, I have chalked that up to a different dye lot, but I am not an expert by any means.
I believe the photos I have included should show the pieces in enough detail, but I have others and can certainly take more if needed. Thank you for your time and any guidance would be appreciated.
Side note: I have spent a good deal of time looking over the index of painters initials. I am curious, is there any record of any of the painters also making sterling jewelry or objects? There are a few marks that match some I have found and never identified over the years.
