Het vooralsnog onbekende merk is niet afkomstig van een Delftse fabriek. Wel benadert de kom, gemaakt van tinglazuuraardewerk en met een kwalitatief goede (hand)beschildering van een oosters patroon, het originele Delfts aardewerk, maar is deze in de twintigste eeuw vervaardigd.
