Pottery factory Ram from Arnhem. the ram head was not used until 1922 and was designed by Jan Brangers. first under the name Colenbrander, later completely hand-painted, only the ram's head and possibly the initials of the painter. Colenbrander's role in the history and survival of the company has remained fairly limited, partly due to his character. The company gained enormous fame in the early days because of him. After 1925 there was little interest among collectors, in 1924 a large stock was sold out at an auction at auction house Mak in Amsterdam. His successors have ensured that the production kept up with the times and was also commercially successful. Your vase probably dates from the 1940s. Later the marks were stamped and only hand-painted, possibly with the painter's initials and a number. Painted by van Ham ??
