Dear Harry,

Your little cow is made by the Porceleyne Fles in Delft in 1996 (year code DP). Delfts zwart, or famille noir was introduced in 1978 on their 325th anniversary and its production stopped in 2009. Because of this limited production period and more complex production process it is more rare than its blue and white counterpart.

Kind regards, Patrick
