Dear Irene,

Unfortunately not, it’s a recent copy with a fake mark.

Kind regards, Patrick

Hallo Patrick, vielen Dank für deine Antwort

Kannst Du bitte deine Antwort vertiefen und erklären über die Merkmale die über die Fälschung sagen? Danke im voraus.

Hallo Irene,

Pieter Kocx’ APK is one of the most common imitations we see on this website and the majority aren’t real.

A few things immediately jump out on yours: the signature itself is off, the design of the drawing,  the colours are too bright to be from the early 18th century, the craquelle in the glazing is not common for authentic Delft.

Please have a look here for authentic examples and see the difference for yourself: https://delftsaardewerk.nl/merk/apk

Kind regards, Patrick

Dear Patrick, thank you very much for your explanations.

I like this Vase though it's not a real APK. I enjoy the colours and the painting itself. In any case I have paid not too much for it

Best regards from Munich.🍀👋😊
