This has mustard coloured detail at the top and what looks like horses in purple with green. It has a lustre ware look on the purple/green details, but not the top mustard detail; it is very unusual.
Vraag
Any help with the provenance of this would be appreciated. I bought it from an estate auction of a Dutch family in Australia. It has maker initials (I think) of PKS.

Great find!! Very rare and a highly collectible vase made by the Porceleyne Fles in Delft. Early 20th century on the top of my head but I’ll come back with some more information in a few days when I’m back home and have access to my books.
Kind regards, Patrick

Thanks Patrick, I look forward to hearing from you.

The style is called Nieuw (New) Delfts Lustre and yours was painted by Piet Senf, the son of Leon Senf around the first quarter of the 20th century. Please see page 219 and 220 of Royal Delft, A guide to the Porceleyne Fles by Rick Erickson for some more information. It’s a shame your vase has some damage but nonetheless a special and highly collectible piece for Porceleyne Fles collectors.
Kind regards,
Patrick
