Is this Delft? Age? The plug in bottom is curious. It is in both of the pots.

Although age and maker would also be of interest, what interests me most is the unusual form. Was there a purpose or is it just a curio?

Thank you very much. I though it may be a date mark but frequently numbers are a pattern mark. No matter who made it, it is a most charming piece. I especially like the hanging loop.
