It is a naïvistic blue decoration on light grey background. Matetial stoneware, I assume. It depicts a small church, there is a tower and maube a fence and some farming utensils. On the edge is decorative pattern of oval forms.

Would like to know if it is Delft and how old it is. I would like to use it for food/salads. But if it is very old or valuable (I understand that you are not able to put a price on the item), then I would rather hang it on the wall.

Hello, Your charger is, as Mr. Maes already told, seen as Majolica, with a lead-glazed back and a wide/flat standring. NOT made in Delft but in Friesland/Makkum 1700-1750. You can certainly use it for salads etc. only simply don't drop it. In perfect condition you have a nice piece. Regards, Edwin van Drecht. Ps, Still possible to buy for a reasonable price. A dinner with 5 will be more expensive.
