Salt and pepper shakers, small bowl

3

All have blue and white floral images. The salt and pepper shakers have windmill images and silver lids, one with a single hole and the other with four sets of four holes. The top of the small bowl has a scalloped edge.

Vraag

Are these authentic Delft items? Any idea of their approximate age? They were a gift to my grandmother decades ago.

Afmetingen

Does not belong to the authentic delft pottery, is 'new', after 1945 and possibly before 1950/1955, probably made in Gouda, hand-painted, company unknown, no mark/logo present, pottery painter(s) unknown, greetings jvdh .

Verdict:

  • Not Delftware

  • Mark of a non-Delft pottery/factory The typical Delftware also inspires producers outside of Delft, but genuine Delftware has only been produced in Delft. Read more
