Two blue and white ginger jars. Lidded.
Hand painted. Each is a little bit different from the other. Marks are definitely different.

Vraag

These jars appeared Asian to me (mostly like old Chinese) but a few people redirected me into the 18th century Delft due to the leaf like mark and the jars themselves. I started looking at your site and discovered of that potential. Please, let me know if these jars are Delft or Chinese.
I really appreciate any help is this situation.
Lana.

Dear Lana,

Your vases aren’t made in Delft unfortunately. The marks aren’t known Delft marks and they don’t look like authentic Delft vases either. (It’s not porcelain as the base has a yellow colour). Good luck in your search.

Kind regards, Patrick
