Is a drip tray for a tea strainer, hand-painted, underglaze painting, company and pottery painter(s) unknown, probably made in Gouda 3rd quarter of the 20th century, values are not given here, greetings jvdh.

Thank you. Because I list items on eBay for the charity, I wondered if it was worth doing. Anything worth less than £15 we sell in our shop rather than online. But thank you again. I did wonder what it was for!!

Verdict:

  • Not Delftware

Analysis:

  • Not made in Delft The term Delftware is only used for earthenware actually produced in Delft. Read more
  • More recent production technique After 1850, factories in and outside Holland developed more efficient and cheaper production techniques. This goes beyond the scope of this website. Read more

Hopefully this will fetch a lovely price for your charity! Value is in the eye of the beholder as they say ;) Good luck
