Dish diameter 12'' (30.5 cm), has nothing to do with authentic Delft pottery, is new, underglaze painting, the so-called new technique, painted in what year, cannot say, but a period, second half of the 20th century , company unknown, pottery painter unknown, probably made in Gouda, perhaps 'early' work, between 1956 and 1960, by N.K.I. (Dutch Ceramic Industry), Gouda, please note, no evidence, greetings jvdh.

  • Hand-painted An important characteristic of authentic Delftware is that it is hand-painted. Printing techniques do not occur on this earthenware. Read more
  • Mark of a non-Delft pottery/factory The typical Delftware also inspires producers outside of Delft, but genuine Delftware has only been produced in Delft. Read more
