This plate is decorated with the 'Old Holland' decor, which has been made since the 1920's at Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda, The Netherlands. The 'B' signature at the top, might be that of Franciscus Ignatius Bijlaart, who was active as decorator from 1918 until circa 1928 and later around 1943

Dear Femke, on this mark to the left of the so-called Lazaruspoortje (Zuid-Holland brand) I see the initials HL, which belong to the pottery painter Heiltje Hendrika (Heiltje) Lens (1905-1997), who worked at the Zuid-Holland pottery bakery from 1916-1930 , she then married in 1930. Franciscus Ignatius (Frans) Bijlaart (Nijmegen 1889-1970 Gouda) added his initials FB to the brand, see examples of him when he was head of the pottery painters at Kunstaardewerfabriek Quo Vadis in Gouda, I Please note that the sign was painted by Heiltje Lens, greetings JVDH.
