Plate with windmill and bridge

2

I found this plate featuring a landscape at a thrift store and purchased it knowing nothing about Delft pottery. The painting depicts a bridge leading over a river to some homes and a windmill. The edge of the plate is adorned with a floral pattern.

Vraag

With some research, I was able to find out that the plate appears to be made by Royal Delft and has year code ā€œLā€ (1890). However, I have been unable to find the artist from the signature - can anyone help identify them?

Too bad the picture with the brand is not a bit clearer. But indeed The Porcelyne Bottle (Bottle JT) from 1890. Despite the unclear photo, I would think that it was painted by J.B. van der Horst who painted there from 1883 to 1918.

If you can post a sharp photo, we can rule this out.

kind regards Franky

Mvg Franky
