Made as a souvenir for the city of Eindhoven, third quarter of the 20th century by the Delftse Pauw. The Delftse Pauw was founded by Theo Van Tienen in 1954 and was a pottery factory located in the Dutch province of South Holland, in Rijswijk along the Delftweg by the Delftsche Vliet from 1954 to 2021. Normally, D.P. has a mark with three stars, but in the early period, only D.P. was used, and sometimes a V and a T entangled was used instead ( = Van Tienen) . The painters' initials remain vague as only a few have been registered in public records.
However, I found someone who could be the painter: H.V. = Herman Veldhuis (Homeworker, before working for Velsen worked from 1946 till 1952 for The Porceleyne Fles in Delft. Worked with Velsen from 1952 till 1963. Was born on the 19th of November 1916 and died on the 28th of June 2002).
kind regards Franky
