Your plate does not belong to the authentic Delft pottery from the period from about 1650-1850, but is new, around 1900, spacious, is not hand-painted but printed via an engraving technique, after a work by FJ du Chattel, is Maastricht pottery, presumably Mosa, on back: N/Delft Dec. 508 = To Delft Decor(number) 508, so in the style of delft blue, greetings jvdh.

Analysis:
Dear Alfred, I agree with Jan. The decoration is inspired by the antique Delftware, but this is a newer porcelain plate with a transfer-print by the Maastricht factory Mosa, circa 1900-1930. The name Du Chattel on the front refers to the original maker of the print or painting after whom the printed blue decoration was designed (produced in large numbers). Thank you for sharing you Dutch plate with us!
