This is made bij Zenith Gouda. So not in Delft. This item is handpainted most probably by T.O. who ever this may be. Item number 1449 . The logo with crown was used. Timeframed between 1946 and 1984 when this factory closed his doors. exact determination of date is difficult because there is not so much known about painters etc....from the Zenith Factory
Hier wat meer gegevens, het model no. 1449 is een bloembak, aangegoten oren, werd geleverd met ovale biscuit binnenbak, het model werd ontworpen door Anneke Roodhuyzen, (opleiding Rietveld Academie Amsterdam), in samenwerking met directeur/eigenaar Dirk van der Want, esthetisch directeur (ook opleiding Rietveld Academie Amsterdam, en Van Eyck Academie Maastricht). TO zijn de initialen van collega plateelschilderes Trudy Otterspeer, werkzaam bij het bedrijf van 1972-1978. Het model werd ook gemaakt in tinglazuur met bloemsteker, verkrijgbaar in gerenommeerde winkels in o.a. Amsterdam.
Here are some more details, the model no. 1449 is a flower box, molded ears, was delivered with an oval biscuit inner box, the model was designed by Anneke Roodhuyzen, (education Rietveld Academie Amsterdam), in collaboration with director/owner Dirk van der Want, aesthetic director (also Rietveld Academy Amsterdam, and Van Eyck Academy Maastricht). TO are the initials of fellow pottery painter Trudy Otterspeer, who worked for the company from 1972-1978. The model was also made in tin-glaze with a flower spike, available in renowned shops in Amsterdam, among others. Regards, jvdh.
