Pair of round vases with figures in 18th century dress

3

Tin glazed earthenware with figures on one side and ships on the other. Each has ‘Anno 1726’ painted on the sides near the base.
Painted marks underneath as shown in pictures.

Vraag

I would be interested to know if they are true Dutch Delft and what the approximate date is, as I’m not sure I believe the date that is on them!

Hi Annette,

They are not authentic Delftware I’m afraid. Most likely made in France in the 19th century and they have a fake mark.

Kind regards,
Patrick
