The bottle was made at De Porceleyne Fles factory, now known as ‘Royal Delft’ and the only remaining factory in the city of Delft. This is from after 1876 when Joost Thooft purchased the factory and revived production. Usually they would date their objects with a lettercode, but not in this case. Although the factory had hundreds of painters over the years and they might actually be able to help you further, the VL mark resemble the mark of Keramiekfabriek Velsen (Velsen, Sassenheim), which may mean a joint production and it would explain the lack of a date.
