Your vase was produced at the Keramiekfabriek Velsen. This factory was founded in the Dutch city of Velsen, just west of Amsterdam, in 1920. When the Germans seized their building in 1943 they were forced to move and settled in Sassenheim. They didn’t have an easy production period as two large fires destroyed the painters room (and the painter even moved to nearby cafe for a while) and the entire factory a few years later. In the end they closed their door in 2002. The ‘S’ besides the mark denotes the fact that this was produced during their Sassenheim period.
