My late father-in-law player Hockey in the 1950s in Europe. This ashtray may have been a memento given to the players. How rare is it? Can the event be identified?

The rarity depends on the amount of players and perhaps staff who received this memento, though my guess would be that there won't be a huge amount around as the involved people would be limited. I couldn't find anything in the Dutch newspaper archives on the specific matchdate mentioned on the piece, which is unfortunate. Perhaps this is due to the fact that ice hockey is relatively less-known in the Netherlands (although this might've been different in the 50s?). Perhaps it was a pre-game to the World Championships in Germany that same year? The Netherlands played in the B-countries poule then.
