It seems to be a rather primitive painting on a plate with a seemingly traditional decor. Looks like a"new"

It looks like a hand painted but is it Delft? I can't find the initials AxS anywhere. What could it be and when and where did it come from?

Your plate is made by 'NKI' (Nederlandsche Keramische Industrie) in Gouda. According to the mark after 1970. I doubt if it is hand painted.AxS is the painters signature.
