Delft plate in old master

I have a old master still life painting and it depicts a delft plate with a gold rim.

Searching online I can find no other, were these ever made, if so does anyone have any information as it may help with understanding the painting more.

Sadly almost impossible to make out. This may as well be a Chinese porcelain plate.
