Despite the name, this is not authentic Delftware. The Oud Delft factory was established in 1920 in Nijmegen. In 1996, it became Aardewerkfabriek ’t Delftse Huys B.V. in Waddinxveen. Objects have been marked since 1935.

The hallmark symbolizes a potter's wheel with the word "OUD" above it and the name "Delft" below. Before 1968, the hallmark was hand-painted and often included the initials of the painter and letters, which likely indicate the year of manufacture. Since 1968, the factory has used a printed hallmark.
