‘Black Delftware’ rectangular tea canister and cover

Beschrijving

Lightly molded on each side with a yellow-edged oval panel painted with flowering plants or branches, three also with a tiny flitting insect, and reserved on a ground of yellow-edged blue and green stripes within whitepanels of iron-red bellflowers on the corners below a green leaf device on each corner of the flat shoulders, the circular cover threaded on the interior and painted on the top with a flowering branch above stripes on the sides echoing those on the body.
