Values are not discussed here. This was made at the Regina pottery factory from Gouda, founded in 1898, the coronation year of Queen Wilhelmina (hence Regina). Probably around 1970-1975. Souvenir pottery.

Kind regards, Franky

I wonder if this is from Regina Gouda, the company was taken over by A. J. (Aad) van Dijk and moved to Bleiswijk and from there to Bergschenhoek where it was recorded in Artihove. The brands of Regina Gouda were almost always with a crown and W B (van der Want and Barras), even the screen printing of Regina Gouda by Peter van der Kroef mentions W B and a crown. That the work is by Regina Gouda, I have my doubts, I think from Bleiswijk or Bergschenhoek, greetings, jvdh.''''

Verdict:

  • Not Delftware

Analysis:

  • Not made in Delft The term Delftware is only used for earthenware actually produced in Delft. Read more
  • More recent production technique After 1850, factories in and outside Holland developed more efficient and cheaper production techniques. This goes beyond the scope of this website. Read more

Perhaps 'Regina' here is the style name, rather than the factory, but there are examples on this website of pieces that were identified as Regina, without the common markings of a crown etc. Such as: https://delftsaardewerk.nl/bekijken/voorwerp/luit-wever/5915-wandbord-w…
