Unmarked ceramic pitcher/jug featuring cobalt blue floral transfer decoration with hand-applied gilt detailing. Approx. 8 inches in height.
Vraag
We are trying to identify this unmarked ceramic jug/pitcher and determine whether it could be Delftware, Delft-inspired pottery, or another type of decorative ceramic. The piece has been in the family for at least 40 years and originally belonged to my girlfriend’s grandmother. We would appreciate any information regarding possible origin, age, maker, or approximate value.

This is an antique blue-and-white jug, possibly produced by Doulton Burslem around 1890. The jug is made in a "flow blue" style with deep cobalt blue floral patterns on a white background. The design is embellished with gilded gold accents along the flowers and edges. Such pieces were often produced in Staffordshire, England, during the late 19th century. Unfortunately, values - as you were supposed to indicate - are not discussed here.
Under an other example.
Kind regards Franky
