This is from the Delftse Pauw. Founded in 1954 by Theo Van Tienen. The mark is the second used and is a V wit the T inside ( Van Tienen ).
From 1954 to 2021, De Delftse Pauw was a pottery factory located in the Dutch province of South Holland, in Rijswijk on the Delftweg along the Delftsche Vliet. This is north of the center of Delft near the municipal border with Rijswijk. It was one of the few earthenware factories that continued the tradition of completely hand-painted Delft pottery.

As with other Delft pottery factories, hand-painted pieces were often signed with the painter's initials. Unfortunately, there is no extensive public list of all painters, but this one is unknown to me for the time being.

Thank you so very much for this information! I'm truly grateful! Do the markings show when it was painted?

Beoordeling:

  • Niet-Delfts

Toelichting:

  • Niet in Delft gemaakt Delfts aardewerk wordt alleen zo genoemd als het echt in Delft is geproduceerd. Lees meer

With many thanks to Franky Stevelinck and Jan v/d Heuvel. Due to technical issues we cannot add new marks at this moment, but we will include this as soon as possible!

Lisa, so this is not Delft? Is Franky mistaken that it was made in Delftse Pauw?  Thank you I'm advance for your help.

De Delftse pauw was not situated in the city of Delft but in Rijswijk. therefore it's not Delft. Authentic Delft should always have been made in Delft.
