Not sure whether this is Delft as I cannot find anything like this on the web and I cannot find the backstamp anywhere. But it shows yellowish clay where damaged. It has been suggested that this is an early Joost Thooft piece.

It is a signature I cannot find anywhere. The clay is a light yellow-cream colour - I can send close-up photos of the chipped areas and the base which is not glazed.

Now it's clear. It's Frisian but not Harlingen. It is made bij Makkum Tichelaar.

Have you any idea as to the age of the piece or where I can find more information on it? I am 82 years old, still hold a Dutch passport, born in Kenya. I have always been interested in Delft.

This is a similar one. I think yours is a bit younger. I think around 1880-1920. Here is another example from Museum Prinsessenhof. Totaly under a similar one in polychrome.
